“Although
I’ve studied with many Bazi masters before, Grandmaster
Francis Leyau has never failed to amaze me, even in a
supposedly a “basic” Bazi Course. No matter how much
knowledge you have in this subject, I am sure you will be
enlightened and your mind will spin again when Sifu shares
his secrets and techniques in Bazi with you. His
methods in deciphering Bazi are worth its weight in gold.
Everything is precise and to the point with pin-point
accuracy. These are real secrets of Bazi that were
time-tested by a Teacher who knows this subject inside out
from his vast experiences.
Frankly, words alone cannot express how good this course
is.You will have to experience it in order to know the
difference, |
|
and from it, you will understand why sometimes your readings
are not accurate because you do not understand “the secret”
of Bazi yet. After having attended many Bazi courses
previously, this is so far the BEST. I certainly
look forward to attending Part 2 of this course. Thanks Sifu
for sharing your knowledge generously with us and ET for
organizing this course (finally!)”

1. Arriving at the Temple of Learning: A Zen parable goes…
Nan-in, a
Japanese master during the Meiji Era (1868-1912), received a
university professor who wanted to inquire about Zen. Nan-in
poured tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, then, kept on
pouring and pouring. The professor watched Nan-in, then
could not restrain himself and said "Stop! What are you
doing? Can't you see that the cup is full? No more tea will
go in!"
Nan-in replied, "Like this cup, you are full of your own
opinions and impressions. How can I show you Zen unless you
first empty your cup?"
There were many ex-Ba Zi students at this course who had
already learnt not only the basics of Ba Zi but even up to
advanced levels on the Mountain of Knowledge. |
|
If any of
us ex-Ba Zi students really want to learn from Master Leyau,
we must be ready and willing to be humble, forget our
pre-learnt knowledge and start to learn all over again.
Otherwise, our prejudices in learning would be our own
greatest blockade to learning the true discipline.
2. The
Lesson itself…
The
conduct of the course was simplicity itself - no fancy
gimmicks, no high-tech laptops, state of the art projectors,
endless slide shows or even microphones. Just the Master and
the whiteboard - what a Zen experience!
The pace
of the course may be summed up in one word and one word only
- PASSIONATE!
No tea
breaks, no toilet breaks (if the student needed one, he/ she
just went to the toilet without interrupting the Master or
the other students). And yet no one complained or even
missed the lack of a breather tea break - such was the
commitment of the Master to teach and the passion of the
students to learn
3. Leaving
the Temple of Learning…
Finally,
here is a Master who does not need modern computers to print
Ba Zi charts to analyse them. The Master said that sometimes
he recalled someone's chart because he had already analysed
it before. There were times when he was asked his opinions
about certain person’s charts when he was engaged in doing
some thing else (such as driving) and when he was told the
layout of the chart, he would imagine the layout in his head
and analyse the chart mentally.
At last,
here is a Master who is at One with the chart.
For aspiring Ba Zi students and practitioners, this is the
level of analysis we should aspire to reach one day!

Simply an amazing class! We were taught how to read a chart
properly, to interpret based on the true Classics.
One among many examples was what to look for in reviewing
women's Bazi. The explanation was crystal clear! I
can hardly wait for the CAFS BaZi Level 2.
I'm very grateful to have finally found the real MASTER
(must be my luck pillar) that I have been searching for.
The only regret I have is I that I didn’t find Master Leyau
sooner.
Thank you Sifu for teaching
us with dedication and passion!

Thank you Master Leyau for
conducting your long-awaited BaZi Course. The percentage
method you taught us in reading the 4-Pillars (Ba Zi) made
understanding the process so simple, giving me real clarity.
I
now feel confident in my ability to interpret the Ba Zi
Chart far more accurately.
I look forward with great confidence in attending the CAFS
Ba Zi Level 2 soon.
Cheers,

Many
thanks for the opportunity to having met both of you and
your wonderful team. Indeed, it was a nice experience and
has provided us some of the most important missing links
that we have been searching for over various years in
learning Paht Chee in various schools. Master
Leyau has finally bridged that gap!
Sincerely

Attending the CAFS Ba Zi Level One Course
during the two days weekend, I have gained a variety of new
perspectives on the subject though I am already familiar
with subject previously.
The new perspectives learned has allowed me
to gain deeper insights and enhance my understanding on why
certain theories are manifested in a certain manner.
Though it is "basics"
revisited, the skilful explanations of the basics by our
Grandmaster Leyau brings me to understand the deeper and
wider interpretive nuances of the Ten Gods and the
significance of the Hidden Stems to another level of
appreciation. |
His teaching
methods have added a lot of fun, enjoyment and most importantly
bring out the crux of the subject succinctly which most other
experienced teachers, that I’ve come across, have apparent
difficulties in explaining clearly the essentials, and loses the
focus in the process. My deepest respect to Sifu on his solid
and impressive
forte in this area of Ba Zi expertise.
My short comment on the CAFS Ba Zi Level One is:
“A BIG Thumbs Up! Hip Hip Hurrah!”
I
am certainly looking forward to the next level in the later part
of this year.
Many
thanks and with deepest respect to Sifu!
